The International Republican Institute (IRI), a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to advancing democracy worldwide, is recruiting a Monitoring and Evaluation/Program Officer (M&E/PO) for its office in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. IRI began working in Mongolia in 1992, implementing assistance programs on parliamentary and political party development, electoral capacity strengthening, good governance, and active citizenry. The M&E/PO will be responsible for implementing elements of IRI’s programs. S/he will liaise with program stakeholders of various sectors, coordinate and facilitate program activities, oversee sub-awards, and adhere to relevant financial and administrative processes. As part of his/her M&E role, M&E/PO will ensure that program activity information and data is captured, documented, analyzed, and reported in a results-based and timely manner, focusing on achievement of indicators and outcomes. S/he will coordinate with IRI staff and external partners in the development and implementation of effective M&E plans and develop data collection and analysis tools. S/he will substantially contribute to IRI-Washington and donor-focused reporting and presentations. S/he will also stay abreast of socio-political developments in Mongolia and provide written or oral translation when necessary.
